'12 Cayenne with around 50k..... With the coveted 6-Speed manual. That's a lot of car for not all that much money.

I would rather have the V10 diesel Toureg that is basically the same vehicle.

I don't recall that those came with a 6-speed manual though?

buy it!

I like it a lot. It was definitely a custom order - blue full leather interior, chrono package, wood trim upgrades - I wonder why they didn't drop another grand on a nicer set of shoes for it.
It's also weird how it was owned in Mississippi - I never thought of a Cayenne being a car you'd find in Mississippi!

I wish.

Maybe not, I don't mind, I only care if my 240Z is manual. My old Mercedes is auto and its nice to cruise, I could get better mileage with a getrag euro manual if I could find one. I wonder if any manuals with with the VW diesel, maybe it shared it with another truck, have to check.

Same, The color combo is amazing. If the calipers matched the interior, and if it had larger black wheels I'd be in love.

But V6 *womp womp*

Goddamn, I love those also.

I adore it! Damn you always finding cool stuff! What I am not a fan of is the blue tone of the leather and the ridiculously small looking wheels.

You know it just occurred to me that I think that engine was available in the Phaeton, so it would be tiptronic at best. Who knows what could be mated to it.

Tiptronic is a pretty good system from my experience, but I'm really not sure if the V10 could handle a 6-Speed out of the W8 or something like that. There was a manual Phaeton at one point from what I remember, but I don't think they actually sold them in the United States.

Yeah, Those wheels are kinda mehhhhhhh for me also. I just wish Porsche still offered manual transmission on the Cayenne still, unless they just do a special order thingy.

These Wheels = Sex

All my wants! First thing I would do if I bought this would be to remove that weird XM radio thing.

I'm sure the Toureg came with tiptronic, they had to switch to the V6 diesel because of regulations so the number of V10s is pretty low in the USA. I always look and I rarely see one. We would have to ask a VW expert, I have a Merc diesel. I have a crazy plan, I know a few Gelandewagen came with the same engine and I want to see if I can get the running gear (4x4) out of Canada somewhere, see if it can be modified to work on a W123 sedan.

I bet this was a special order. The original owner must have REALLY liked manuals.

Mhmmm Yeah.
![]() 01/01/2015 at 21:12 |

Yeah, I heard it was some emissions bullshit that forced the V10 out anyways. There's a few around though, Love how unique they are.

didn't know they made this with a manual, that's actually pretty damn sweet.
![]() 01/01/2015 at 21:18 |

It is, Isn't it Haha. It's always nice to have unsuspecting manual transmission cars.

Didn't know they made these with a manual. That's actually pretty sweet. Not 40k sweet, but still, 10/10 would hoon.

Even with the V6 I kinda like it. I'd go for a bigger engine and lighter interior though.

Dunno - no wheel/tire combination, no engine/transmission combination, no body refresh - can make this vehicle attractive to me. If you want a big, gas-guzzling car in this class, get a Rangie (a real one) or an XC90.

Both Americans who would drive a manual cayenne said no thank you.

Eh. It's pretty tastefully done.

Wow, that's a unicorn for sure.

Indeed it is, That would be a real surprise if that randomly showed up.

Its the base model Cayenne. Sounds amazing, but its still pricey.
Its also not the Turbo version (if any of you are into 400+HP maybe SUV's)

WHY?
![]() 01/03/2015 at 22:32 |

I......Don't know. I don't really mind it, but it would look better without that whatever there.
![]() 01/03/2015 at 22:35 |

It's an SUV. It doesn't need a stopwatch (if that is one).

It's probably an option or something. It's got a clock on the face from a couple of pictures I saw, but I don't know what it's actually measuring.
