I like the Ferrari California.
In fact, I saw and passed one today on the highway. It was small, looked nimble, and overall seemed like a nice place to cruise the highway in.
I like that it isn't so much about track speed and more about tearing through your vineyards when you get bored with staring at your wine collection, and then settling down for a nice pop into town for some baguettes.
I like the way it looks forward of the A pillar, before the "T" refresh.
Most modern Ferraris are loud, fast, and brash, but why does it have to be like this exclusively? Think back to the old 250 California; that's what a Ferrari GT car should aspire to be. Yes, the new California has a bit to go to reach that, but I think it's more in the right direction than 599 or F12 ever was.
However, would I buy a California?
Probably not; the DB9 exists.

Wait, why is this a confession? V8 up front. Available manual transmission. Hammond approved.

From what I've heard, everybody on here hates them.

As one of the few Ferrari enthusiasts here, I do not hate it. I've always liked it. Kind of a throw back to the days of when the Old Man was running things.

I see nothing wrong with the california, I actually think it looks good.
my oppo confession: I drive a crossover (though some people already knew that) and I really dislike wagons (not hatchbacks though).

I like them as well.
But while we're on the subject of Oppo confessions and you brought up the DB9, I feel compelled to say that try as I might, I cannot tell the difference between any recent Aston Martins.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. No matter how wrong it is.
