I just realized there are no new manual V12 cars sold now. Not even Aston Martin. This makes me sad...

You could get a manual FR-S, WRX, and Fiesta ST, and thats 12 cylinders. Pretty much the same thing, right?

Oddly enough the target market for such cars stopped giving a damn about having manuals in them in the first place.

I've done the dance with both a manual and SMG equipped Aston. Is the manual fun? Yes. Did I miss it in the SMG? No.

Technology. All those top end cars now have weird transmissions like dual clutches.

I looked into this awhile back myself. While no new Aston v12s are offered with manual, under the accessory page there is the option for a manual conversions. Hmmm....

I've driven paddle shift automatics, dual clutch and traditional, and I have yet to find one I like as well as a manual. The DCT is faster, but the manual is much more fun. And even more fun with a barking 12-cylinders to back it up. I lament the loss of a NA 12 cylinder with a 3 pedal manual. There is always the used market! A 550 Maranello is a relative bargain these days.

I don't think that would really be considered since they haven't designed one and don't offer it for sale, plus there are none that exist or even any plans to make on. I feel like that would be comparable to saying that Lancia still sell the Stratos since one guy commissioned them to build him his own

Also paddle shift transmissions have a lot more parts that can break on you. Which is important when buying an out of warranty used exotic.

Dat 550 is probably going to see some serious appreciation SOON. And the Manuél equipped 575s (which are pretty rare).
