How hard is it to drive a RHD car in the states? Is it one of those things that just takes a little bit to get use to?

Yeah, pretty much and you also loose visibility of on coming traffic when over taking. It's also easy swapping the steering wheel, all the holes are already there in the fire wall.

I dont' know, really. I know of somebody who has a IIa Rover in the states that's RHD that I could ask. I imagine it's more "interesting" with something tall, wobbly, and wind-susceptible like this.

I've done it, my dad used to DD his RHD 109 to work in Cali. Until he decided he wanted a 300Tdi in it.

I *have* considered making a dual-control Series before, as I'm sure *you* have. A little extra steering weight would be as nothing to the comedy value.
Assuming two steering relays and a new frame (both locations), you'd need to mill a RH (if US) steering arm or start from scratch to fit the relay and give you two tie rod sockets on the left relay - to tie the relays together. Then run US links as normal.
Brakes and clutch would work perfectly with just a tee each. Gas, likewise easy.

Would make a fantastic student car. If you can learn to drive a series Landy with a crash gearbox, you can drive pretty much anything.
