I picked up a 2002 BMW 530i M-Sport this morning. I love it already, though I plan on improving it ever so slightly in the near future.

So as a first drive I took a little drive along the coast to get a feel for how she handles.

This was nice.

Why? It's just an oppo thing now, sort of like the SR20 rule.

Also, re: sr20 rule... I'd hazard a guess that less than 10% of the people currently here were around at the time that originated.

SR20=pics or it didn't happen. Guy called SR20 claimed to have an Elise but never could show any proof and ultimately admitted he lied about it.

Oh, that's lovely. Really, really lovely. I'm not the biggest fan of polished wood, but it really works with this car, especially with it on the shifter, too.

Doesn't it?! We're totally on the same page about polished wood though. But it's very subdued in the 530 and not entirely tacky haha. Not as utilitarian-chic as a Porsche...

Oh, man. I love the matte woods in the new Audis, too. This works on this era BMW, though. It just does.
