this is my $kay like stage name. You rang?
On another note my gramma used to tell me dirty stories of her and my grandpa getting busy in their Essex. Brain bleach required

Ever since I saw Back to the Future, I wished I could go back in time with some amazing piece of information that would make me rich, so I could get all the cars I want lol

Hey, now, consider yourself lucky: All my grandmothers ever did was either pretend that this part of their life never happened, or skipped over a lot of the romantic storytelling by talking about "getting acquainted" and then having dinner.

Oh I wouldn't trade it for the world. My gramma was super uptight most of her life, but then 3 years before she died she decided to make sure I knew how much of a, um, promiscuous woman she was back in the days. It was hilarious, and a great trove of stories she had of her time as a New York gal. "Now if your grandfather knew I was in that alley that night with [name redacted] with his hand up my skirt he would have hit the roof"! Hahaha true story

I love those kinds of stories! I'm of the perspective that they really help to bring history alive and keep it that way, as opposed to some stale and sanitized textbook version. Gotta love it when people hit that point of realization where they realize it doesn't matter and they can just tell it like it is!

That was astonishingly cheap - $9000, inflation adjusted. Amazing value for the time, a well-built, big car with a six-cylinder.

I mean, nothing against your grandmother. I'm sure she was a wonderful lady. I just can't help imagining myself in your shoes, and one of my grandmothers telling me a story like that...no disrespect.
