8 hasn't even been out that long though.

I don't think anything will be as bad as Vista was.

I toyed around with a Windows 8 computer at Best Buy for a good amount of time, once you get used to the different layout of things, it isn't that bad.

I used Vista, 7 and am on 8 now. 7 was the best but 8 is fine. Dunno what everyones problem with it is. I get the Microsoft apps to freeze my whole laptop once in a while which is not great though.

8 is definitely made for touch screen devices and once 8.1 came out I never use the start menu. I can access everything from the desktop via the charms. It could still use some serious refinement which is what 10 is going to be but I wouldn't consider it a colossal failure like the media is making it out to be.

me either. The early release definitely had its issues but once the 8.1 update came out, I've had minimal issues. I guess people are extremely resistant to change.

I find windows 8 a lot better. Preinstalled ability to unzip and mount ISOs, a good loading speed upgrade over 7 for me. I never found the menus that bad either.

not a fan of 8. When my pc finally dies I think Ill find my way to a mac. Unless windows make some big improvements.
