I need your guidance. My neighbor has a MG-TD kit car (Built on a stretched beetle chassis) that he has had for at least the last 30 years. He had it garaged for many of those years, but the last few he has been trying to get it back running again. he now has a new engine, but he is having trouble finding someone that can help him get it set up right. I guess as it is, it's driveable, but rather exciting as the jetting is way off, and it tends to race a bit. He's about my parents age, I don't get to see him that often, and I just got all this from his wife who isn't really up on what exactly is going on. Anyway, if anyone can give guidance for a bug shop that might be able to git-er dun, or even someone that might be able to help set the problem right themselves, throw some suggestions in the comments know anyone. I know that he's not looking for free, but I am not sure how much he has to put into it.
Edit, because I'm a dumbass edition: Talking about the Northern Va /DC area.

it is a bug engine, simple enough. What is in it for a motor and carb setup? If you dont have that where are you located so I can try and find you a local air cooled guy

It's funny, I was just thinking... Did I put in a location? Nope! DC / NoVa area. I haven't really seen under the hood, er, trunk yet. I am planning on getting some more info and maybe some pics in the next day or so. I went to school with their daughter, and have known the family since 1980, so I should be able to get some better information soon. He's one of the guys that got me interested in cars, so I want to help him out.
