Warning Rant Incoming

To start off I was already screwed with the Mini and the Mazda 3 in my class. Now there will be the Fiesta ST. That bitch already has double the horsepower of my car, and it can turn. I might as well just save for a damn Miata at this point if I want to be competitive at all. Make a J stock class please SCCA so I can at least have some competition that wont dust me from the start.

It was fine in GS. Brian can complain all he wants, but I was consistently a second or two behind a Focus ST. A good Fiesta driver can beat a Focus.

But in HS? The Fiesta has 60 hp on the Sonic when set up for HS. SIXTY! That's bullshit.

The Fiesta should have stayed in GS. If the Focus ST was that much faster it should have moved to FS

You could get an LS for under 2k, if you do most of the work yourself, it's doable. I think there are even a few that did LS swaps for GM luxobarges of the early 2000s as well.

I find it hard to believe that you couldn't beat a focus on similar tires.

There's a focus here that is consistently top 10 in pax and I'm only 2 second behind him. I don't know that the fiesta would get 2 seconds over my Sonic, but it'd be close.
