I got the 20ton press, split the cost with my cousin to do the wheel bearings on his 05 taco. If you watch out for coupons you can get 25-50% off. Not much to go wrong with steel & bottle jack.
Its a tool that won't get used often but good to have when you do need it.

A TIG welder! Exactly $200! I'm always wanted to try welding my own bicycle frames and while I have an giant Arc Welder I don't have a TIG.

Probably an air compressor and if possible, associated tools to go with it since that's the one thing I don't have that I would like to.

lol really? I have 2 at home. They are really good but start squeaking after a while even if you add grease to the service valve

You never know when you might get the urge to build a go-cart
No man should be without one of these.
This could really come in handy while doing bodywork.

I got a really good one from here for like $250. Fittings, hose, and quick disconnect bits I "borrowed" from work :]

As long as they lift my car I'm happy. Everyone asked why I bought a jack from harbor freight, everything from there breaks. My reply is I use jack stands duh, and they're not from harbor freight. Not that I don't think they could make decent jack stands but I don't wanna push my luck.

Yup! Even with it up on stands, I leave the jack in position. But honestly, I think I can trust the jack just for something really quick

I agree, mine does better than my buddies craftsman service jack and I say this from using them side by side on the same job and watching his drop over time.
