wow jalops, what a weekend, eh?

Check out this sweet C4 Corvette on craigslist.

It currently has no engine, but that means it is ripe for an LSx swap for moar powers!

You need a clean title(i think you call those pink slips in the states) to be able to register the car and plate it and drive it. not a book title or a song title. Stupid question but is that corvette older than you?

If you want to know if it has a title, e-mail the dang seller and ask him.

Cause you didn't seem to know what a Title is for the car. Someone just asked if there was a mention of a title, Yes we know you are not the seller. You seemed to lack life experience with your answer, and normally life experience goes with age. Sorry I just assumed you where young for not knowing what a title is.

I fail to see how that was a dumb question, when in fact it was a very valid question since you posted the car, you should know if it's only good for a parts car. You could of just answered "no they didn't mention the title'' btw. But this is the internet so I guess you are right and everyone else is wrong.... it is a dumb question because the ad is linked.

you can look at the ad yourself; if you want to know if it has a title then you ask the person selling the car .

crowmolly knew that the title wasn't mentioned, but wanted to ask a stupid question anyway.

Didn't type enough in my first post. That seems like the issue. I didn't see titling information (it's on the right) as I was browsing on my phone. Mea culpa, I guess. Was just trying to raise the issue of a lack of title description.

Since the OP asked "let me know your thoughts" my thought is that without a non-salvage NJ title it's not the PERFECT project car as described. "Clean" doesn't tell you shit, it's like "Numbers Matching". Without knowing more info you can't tell if it's good or bad.

It is a standard question from a car buyer to a car seller, not to someone who is just trying to share an ad with his friends in oppo since i am clearly not the seller and can not provide extra information that is not included in the ad. Also, short comments like "no mention of title?" usually ad nothing to the well nourished discussion we have here.

Please do not be-little me, it is very hurtful. I am sorry if you were offended by my actions I am trying to get along with people here and learn about being a true jalop and follow the laws of oppo.

Any comment or question adds to the discussion, so long as it is topical, which crowmolly's question was indeed.
