This excellent video documents the formation flight of a SWISS Airbus 330 with the Patruoille Suisse demonstration team flying their distinctive F-5E Tiger II. This exhibition took place during !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! at Payerne, Switzerland. Some stills from the video are attached below to whet your appetite.

Are you sure that's not a MiG-28?

Now with nifty GIF. One of these days I'll learn how to do that.

The F-5 and its relatives are the best looking single seaters IMO.

Well, most of them were good looking. There is always that one weird cousin though...

I would have to agree. Such a classic shape. I was really disappointed when the Tigershark never took off, so to speak. The T-38 looks great in Thunderbirds livery, too. They flew them from 1973-1982, but a devastating crash , which killed four members of the team, led to a 6-month suspension of activities. When they reactivated, they transitioned to the F-16.

I was just inspired to post a few pictures of the F-5 and its offspring. The T-38 in Thunderbirds livery made the cut. As did the F-18 in Blue Angels livery.
