Hey Oppo. So, last night, I bought the Escape From Television cassette, because why not. And that got me thinking. What are some other good cassettes that I should buy? I already have quite a few (around 35 or so), but I'm open for any suggestions. I'm a classic rock guy, but I also like just about anything 80's.

Have a GTO for your time.

Escape from Television is one of my favorite cassettes, right up there with ...Hits.

80s and classic rock? Why not some Ronnie James Dio? Holy Diver and/or Heaven and Hell. Then maybe Last in Line and Mob Rules

If you like thrash you can never beat anything pre-Black Metallica or Megadeth.

I'm excited get it. I started watching Miami Vice, and I decided it was a must have. And ...Hits is great too.

Good idea! Didn't think of that! Can't beat Dio. That's going on my list, for sure.

And I have plenty of Megadeth, since they're great. Have a couple Metallica cassettes too, but I've never been a huge Metallica fan.

Ya Dio is pretty much top tier of "classic rock" and "80s" but a lot of people forget about his stuff. His 3rd Black Sabbath album, Dehumanizer, is good as well but that is 90s but might as well be 80s.

I agree on Metallica. I like Megadeth more myself as well.

The album where Aretha Franklin sings Jumpin' Jack Flash ... astonishingly good.

For sure. I really gotta pick up some Sabbath stuff, as they are also one of my favorites.

Good choice :D I already have Invasion Of Your Privacy, but I might need to add in Out of the Cellar. Great album, for sure.

Fantastic song, for sure. Not really sure what album that would be on, though.

You know what? I was just thinking about Huey Lewis & The News last night. ZZ Top and Sam Kinison are awesome calls too. Amusingly, I actually already have the Top Gun soundtrack.

Sports was the first album I bought with my own money. It actually isn't that bad when you listen to it today. Kinison is just amazing.

Oh I know, its a great album. Plenty of great tracks on there. And I might need to get my hands on a Sam Kinison cassette pretty soon.

Def leppard - hysteria. And pyromania. The cult - rockers ravers lovers and sinners

Motley crue - decade of decadence. Kiss - thrashes smashes and hits. Guns and roses appetite for destruction. Van halen - 1984. I know this is 90's but pearl jam - ten gnr- use your illusion 1 and 2 and nirvana - nevermind.

Not really much of a Thin Lizzy fan, to be honest. I like Gary Moore, but the rest of the band I don't really like.
