I got the Z running awesome a couple weeks ago after replacing spark plugs, fuel pump, little stuff. Got 30 miles down Highway 1 to Big Sur and got a catastrophic (but repairable) puncture that required AAA to tow me a hundred miles back home. Hopefully you've got better luck than me.

No, I don't. I'll paint a picture. Mother's Day 2012. We decide to go to brunch with a few friends. The wife and the kids are passengers in my cat that day. Get on the parkway and a full throttle stab to get up to speed goes well. The drive the rest of the way on the parkway goes well. Then I hit the off ramp. Ka-chung Ka-chung Ka-chung Ka-chung PING — followed by my driver side rear tire rolling over my SFI approved harmonic balancer with about 1500 miles on it.....

Got flat towed to a buddy's shop and had to get a ride home.....

Thankfully I was off the gas when it happened. New balancer, spacer, and serpentine belt. No other damage.
