Buongiorno! In our quest to drive and compare all of the current hot hatch offerings in the US market, we got our hands on this little used Nero black Fiat 500 Abarth. How does it stack up to our !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ? Or the brand new 2015 GTI that we !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ? Take a look at our (very) quick video review and find out. #hatchlife

Remember the Dodge Neon intro campaign? "Hi!". How freakin cute was that? Well the Fiat 500 Abarth makes the Neon look like Quasimodo in comparison. It's adorable. Just look at it!
But this Abarth thing, it's different. There is a dark side. I mean, scorpions are dangerous right? I'm pretty sure they are. Thanks to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for the opportunity to see for sure.
Things I immediately liked about this Fiat.
Flat bottomed steering wheel
Guttural exhaust note
Go-kart like handling
Surprising amount of room for such a small car
High mounted shifter
Aggressive look for such a cute car

Although, like most small hatchbacks, its not perfect. Things I grew to dislike about this Fiat.
Go-kart like handling rides pretty rough
Surprising amount of room disappears when people get into it
High mounted shifter is a 5spd and isn't that amazing
Mi scusi! It's still a pretty good car, and my 10 year old son thought it was pretty cool. Plus, the positives outweighed the negatives (like 2-1 as far as bullet points go) but you should take a look at our quick video review for more. Nice little review - the part about the "broken" exhaust made be laugh - but spoiled by an overused term that should never to be uttered again in a car review:
"go-kart like handling"
