Boost isn't a bad word. Tradition holds us back! Adapt or die! There is no car that isn't better with a little compression.

I love me a naturally aspirated Chevy V8.
But... I love a supercharged one even more.
I for one welcome our forced induction overlords.

I liked boost back when it also injected cars with a healthy dose of personality. Boosting an engine these days though, seems to result in the exact opposite.
My point being that things were better back in my day. And you kids have it too easy these days. and rent is too damn high. or something.

I, however, am against using turbos to get around inadequate output out of an engine that is otherwise an anemic pile of junk. For the same HP level, I'll take a 7500rpm N/A engine with a linear powerband over a 5000rpm turbo engine with a fat parabola of a powerband.
