I was too late to comment on this post by Michael Ballaban:

So I thought I'd make my own post here on Oppo.
Here are some train tracks in Warren County NJ.
This is the "approach" side, coming from Stewartsville. Most people do 50 or so since this is a country road.
Behold: The Dominator.
This is the "landing" side. If you approach the tracks from this side you know to slow down. Other side, not so much. It has been re-paved a number of times but the grade is still balls-ass crazy. Even if you go over it at 10 mph you will probably scrape. In the weeds are a bunch of hubcaps and headlight plastic.
I used to work out this way and my office named it "The Dominator" because of all of the people who hit it too fast.
One particular case was my boss, who was new at the time and didn't know the road. He had just bought a new Saturn and took Richline when he was late to work one day. Ended up totaling the car out since everything under the hood got busted up when the motor mounts broke.
It's been like this for as long as I can remember. Stay classy, Warren county.

I remember this crossing from my youth. We lost a lot of good mufflers on that road.

I used to hit stuff like this in my rally car when I lived in Wichita. I stopped when the shifter fell through the floor. It was great shakedown to find out if there were any weak points in the car though.
