The only thing Cadillac is going after the Germans for is the stupid naming scheme - but that's universal among luxury brands for some stupid reason.
Their styling is totally different from the subtle curves of the Germans. The Cadillac "Art & Science" is all about hard angles. I'd hardly call the design contemporary at all.

Well the ATS and XTS sure are not about hard anything as their their edges are visibly softened.
I know Johan de Nysschen is working with Cadillac designers to evolve that current design language into something that can hold up for 10 or 15 years into the future. Still, that will probably happen after the launch of the CT6.

Sure he does. Every luxury lineup has followed the Germans to some degree, minus the ones who don't, and flounder in the near-luxury market as a result (Lookin' at you, lincoln and Acura...)
