Road salt's a bitch.

Plus it's at least seven years old. Without properly cleaning it a car can rust a good amount in that time.

Our work has one of these. It's without a doubt one of the worst things I've driven. It understeers on me during low speed u-turns. The steering is about as numb as it gets. There's an insane amount of play. The entire gauge cluster is broken on it. The interior is made entirely of the most foul plastics, which you'd think wouldn't be an issue coming from someone who owns a Subaru, but the stuff in these are just exceptionally terrible .

The suspension is both squishy and harsh. Like, how?

I'm absolutely not. It's an exceptionally terrible vehicle.

Like, I'll give you that it can certainly haul ass in a straight line for a truck.

Trailblazer EXT was available with the 5.3 and the 4.2 was no slouch.
