Craigslist Forester XT, before and after rebuild

I was surfing Craigslist for Forester XTs, and I came across this:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Then, further up the list:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

It's the same car, the license plate number is the same. I guess somebody bought it with the torn-apart engine, rebuilt it, and is looking to turn a profit.

My initial reaction is good job to the enterprising mechanic who pulled this off, but my inner skeptic would still be concerned with possible shenanigans.

Yeah but it's really no different than any other car that's had something fixed, other than that now you know :)

Yeah, I think you're right. My inner skeptic can be overly critical at times.
