245K? I'd want not one mechanic, not two mechanics, but at least three mechanics to inspect it. If the top end needs a rebuild, you'll need a lot of money or a rich relative.
That said, it's the same year as my beloved 300D. A good year.

I've driven one in Spain, nothing special to me. It seemed super reliable though for a car of it's age.
I'd say a little less than that price is fair.

It's a lot of miles... but I love that manual. Love it, love it, love it. Get everything inspected.

If you have a good amount of knowledge regarding the 190, go for it - but get it thoroughly inspected by a mechanic that works on them, and be prepared to spend the purchase price and more replacing/rebuilding stuff.

Definitely. With that mileage, i was surprised by its shape, i will have it looked over by not three mechs, but 4. lol

I wish. From what I've heard they're not actually that fast, but still a lot of fun. I've also heard the engine isn't up to Mercedes normal bullet proof standards of reliability. So I would be cautious with that.
