I have a feeling that I either want to know the answer to this as well, or I don't.

Makes you understand just how important James May is.

Unless they recently added it, Top Gear starts at Series 2 on Netflix.

Jason was well known at the time for car related programmes and went on to co-host another programme where a member of the public wrote in with what they were looking for and how much they had to spend. They would then find two cars that fitted the criteria and a third which was either a little more expensive (marginally) or something racier and the person who wrote in would take them out for a test drive and then they would phone the seller of the car chosen and haggle for a better price. It was an interesting and something different to TopGear and Fifth Gear at the time. I wish I could remember the name of the damned show.
