Went out for a drive in the 'Vette. Saw some interesting stuff that was out tonight! No SR20s, since I was driving. Some of this stuff may not seem interesting, but they were interesting enough to me. Here's what I saw.
-A MINT Citation X-11. I had to do a double take because I was so amazed to see one.
-A 300ZX Z32. Was surprised because it looked extremely stock. Also looked pretty darn clean.
-An '81 Turbo Trans Am. I know the 301 Turbo was pretty terrible, but its such a good looking car.
-A 240SX S13. Actually looked pretty stock, except for some BBS wheels. It was pleasant to see one that wasn't all riced out.
-An Arena Red 993. I'm usually not a Porsche guy, but these things look fantastic. Especially in Arena Red.
-A Mustang Cobra II. I don't like these things, at all. But, I have to admit, it was pleasant to see one.
-A Lime Rock Green Stingray. I've seen a few of these, but I always forget how fantastic these look in Lime Rock Green.
-A '70 Challenger. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I've always liked the Challenger more than the 'Cuda.
-An '83 Hurst/Olds. Also looked original. Paint was a little faded, but I don't care. These things are awesome.
Anyone else see anything cool today?

Haha, Tons. I went to C&C this morning, but didn't take many pictures.
A silver Diablo was the best, and a Citroen Maserati thingy.

You're 15 right? Do you have a license?

Yup, I saw a red Mercury Cougar Eliminator, and I hope I don't have to explain why any car like that is extremely rare in Brazil. No SR20 because I was driving, though. Yesterday I also saw a Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series while driving around one of the fanciest parts of town. No SR20 again because I was driving...

Damn, a Cougar Eliminator in Brazil? That's insane! They're rare in the U.S., but I can't even imagine how rare they are down there.

Yep, I'm 15. Don't have the license, but I'm getting it in two weeks.

It's the very first one I've ever seen. In fact, it was the very first Cougar of any type I've ever seen. I suppose it could always be a clone, but I don't know why anyone would go through the hassle of importing a car that's not the real thing.
EDIT: Just a small correction, it was actually a 1970, according to Google Image search:
One just like this.

Nice! I haven't been to C&C in a while, and I would really like to get back in the habit of going. I haven't seen a Diablo in a while, and I've actually never seen an SM (assuming that's what you mean by Citroen Maserati thingy lol).

Nice! I would agree, I don't think anyone would go through the hassle of cloning one. Especially since most people probably wouldn't even recognize what it is.

Yup, you're not exactly "showing off better" by having an Eliminator over a regular Cougar, since most people will only recognize it as a different, old car, and importing a regular model to make it into a clone kinda defeats the purpose of owning the model you wanted in the first place.
