I honestly did. Like you, I thought he was just joking around, and was in no way serious when !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! But today he had me drive this one, and while there's a chance I'm being trolled even harder, my hopes are climbing.

As for the car itself, ooooh boy. It's not the speed. I've driven cars that fast before. It's not the interior, which is a scaled-up version of any sporty Audi (which is to say, perfect). It's the sound. The wail from that Lamborghini-derived 5.2 V10 is one of the sweetest sounds my ears have ever heard. Don't believe me? Here you go.
Okay, I was lying when I said it wasn't about the speed. This is a 4500 pound car, but when you punch the gas, it takes off like a rocket-propelled zeppelin. Which is to say, loud, smooth, and really fast. I don't think I have ever had so many wants in my life.

He's not buying anything until the spring. No sense buying a new car before this shitty winter we're supposed to get. As for whether or not he gets an S8, I still kinda doubt it, but the odds are better now than they were.
