Well, I'm in the process of cooking dinner for 10, that's exciting I guess. Plus, I saw a Brabus Mercedes wagon with a LMP1 lemans engine.

I'm going to go back there and take some pictures, my phone ran out. I'm cooking smoked Haddock, Boeuf Bourguignon, Brie Risotto and some Paris mushroom and fig salad, the kitchen is a mess.

You're doing the right thing by watching Miami Vice. Make sure to watch Definitely Miami with a C4! Not a great episode otherwise...

My dad suggested it to me, since it used to be his favorite show in the 80's. Its a kick ass show! I'm only on the first season right now, but I'm impressed so far. I'll planning on watching all the episodes eventually. I'll have to check that one out, for sure. I'm considering buying Jan Hammer's Escape From Television cassette just for the awesome soundtrack.

Jan Hammer is fantastic, and escape from television has tons of great stuff. On YouTube a guy named Markus Tellman has posted the whole soundtrack from the show if that helps. Despite being a massive Miami Vice fan, I have to warn you that seasons 4 and 5 are just not the same, but it's definitely a good show to escape from it all.

Good to hear. I think I'm going to go on Amazon and buy the cassette. I'm glad someone posted all the music, since I've been looking for it all over the place. I've heard that a few times about seasons 4 and 5. Isn't it because they got a new director after season 3? I remember hearing someone say it was the guy who directed Law & Order later on. Judging from the episodes I've watched so far, I would agree that its a good way to just relax. I also get tons of nostalgic feels, since the 80's are, in my opinion, the greatest decade of all time, even though I never experienced them.

Yeah, Michael Mann who was the brainpower that made Miami Vice a cultural revolution left and Dick Wolf replaced him and took the show back in time a bit. I get super nostalgic about the 80s even though I never even existed until some time after. I also recommend Magnum P.I.; even though it lacks the relative sophistication of Miami Vice, it is a good show. If I could find a jan hammer cassette and play it on the C4 I'd be super excited, though! I haven't tested my tape deck yet, but come on it's Delco Bose haha

Ah, I see. Yeah, same here with that. The C4 kind of helps to soothe the nostalgia, and I'm sure you can agree, but I still wish I were able to experience it. It a time machine were ever invented, I would be one of the first in line if possible. Surprisingly, I've actually already watched most of Magnum P.I.! I think I like Miami Vice more so far, but I enjoyed Magnum P.I.

Well, if you want the cassette, this is the link. http://www.amazon.com/Escape-Televis… =. My tape deck works, but its not that great. It sometimes skips randomly. I'm thinking about either cleaning it or sending it out to someone to rebuild it. The Delco-Bose system is pretty damn sweet, though.

Awesome, thanks for the link. I definitely prefer Miami Vice to Magnum P.I. The writing is good, it is superb stylistically, and Don Johnson is a good actor playing an awesome character. Wven the McBurnie Daytona replica is cool! I don't think I could ever enjoy a new car so much because there's something really special about an old car and the history it has. Soothe is definitely the right word until a time machine comes along!

No problem. I couldn't agree with you more on that. The McBurnie Daytona is cool, for sure! It made me laugh when I was reading about it. Its hilarious that Ferrari got so mad that they just donated Testarossas to the show. It really goes to show how popular the show was. I also agree with you there. You just grow much more of an attachment to an older car and its finicky little quirks.
