It all started with a hanging gutter on the 2nd story. Reattaching said gutter will require a ladder beyond the 6 or 10 foot ladders I already have. We're talking 20' min.

That leaves 1 only problem. How to get said ladder home. Then it dawned on me how much easier it would be if I had a roof rack to tie it to (at least that's what I told the wife). I'm $400 into this repair that I could of probably paid a handy man $30 to do (AND I don't even have a ladder yet). But where's the fun in that right?

These ladders are simply awesome.

I use one at work, and I swear, it fits in just about any of the standard vehicles. If you have a two seater, then re-think your choice of vehicle, but it fits really well in any sedan with a folding rear seat. Really great because it means you can get away with one ladder to rule them all, instead of 5 ladders that you have trouble storing.

I seriously need one of those. Although for this project it would fall short by at least 2 ft even with my height added to it and arms extended. I wish our house had roof access on the first story like our old one.
