She drives a brown 911s
She's a detective
She's got aspergers/autism, so she's very logical and rational - adorably so!
She's super hot!
And the show Bron/Broen (The Bridge) is fantastic too. If you've ever watched The Killing (Forbrydelsen, not the remake) that's most comparable to this but they're really quite different! Her partner's great too, and it's a good insight into Denmark and Sweden and police work as well.
Watched the first 4 episodes so far, now I need to go back to it!

there's also an American version, between Mexico and the US in El Paso, also called 'the bridge'.
Both shows are pretty good, but the original Danish / Swedish one is better in my opinion.

Does the story change too or is it literally the same story but localised? Not a fan of remakes either

I need to see this! I have asperger's syndrome and I love classic 911s/pretty women.

And if you speak Danish as well then you won't need subtitles! The show seems to imply that Swedes understand Danish. For the most part I only like Porsche's old cars; I know brown is omg holy grail around here but the brown on her Porsche has too much yellow in it which makes it look like fecal olive + no ducktail! Aside from that it's addictive like Killing I'm just buffering ep 7 now :D

Haven't watched enough of either to make a call, but there are a lot of similarities. Lady-detective from the US with aspergers. Guy-detective from Mexico. The individual cases are different, but there's definitely shared elements.
I'd say both are good in their own right, but if you watch both you'll easily spot the similarities.
