Wow, was the car in some rich guy's collection or something?

That's a good question. I figure that overall, she will take it pretty easy. I definitely wouldn't be suprised to see her occasionally thrash it though...

Yep. He owns a Dodge dealership down in Texas and aquired the car for himself back in 07. He ran dealer plates whenever he drove it so he could avoid registering it.

Thanks. I'm hoping that if she doesn't put too many miles on it, it will not horribly depreciate.

It might be too tempting to rack up miles on it though. If anything the car deserves it after all those years of sitting.

Luckily she got an '07 and not an '08. Otherwise...recalls.

Does that mean she gets new car warranty?

That's quite yellow. Drive the hell out of it, it really needs it. Those HEMIs are like a fine wine, they get better with age. She should drive it a lot, so the car learns what it's like to be a car.

Low mileage, high mileage, it's all just fluff. In the future, if someone wants the car, they'll buy it. Until then, your mom needs to teach those tires a few lessons.

Does it have new tires? I can't imagine only having 1000 miles on the tires after 7 years is a great idea.

My mother had a 07 red SRT8. She drove the hell out of it and kept it pristine! (Also, she's 53 lol)

I believe that the owner kept the fluids and tires fresh. The 1000 miles were him just keeping the car drive able
