I figured it all out and I feel very accomplished.

I now know how to decrease the track on my Forester for very cheap and extremely easy, allow me to elaborate! Bout to drop some wisdom.

According to Edmunds the FXT front track is 58.9 Inches the rear track is 58.5 Inches . Foresters are almost completely interchangeable with parts from an 02-07 WRX because they share the same chassis. Despite this, there are still some discrepancies in the sizing of some parts between the FXT, WRX, and WRX wagon.

Get this, the WRX and WRX Wagon have different track widths. Since the WRX wagon was expected to be produced in lower volumes, they did not update the platform and actually based some of the driveline off the GC impreza. So the track width in the front of the WRX Sedan is 58.5 Inches and in the rear it is 58.1 Inches . BUT!! In the wagon the track width is 57.7 Inches up front and 57.3 Inches in the back! The same as the GC Impreza sedan!

So for reference:
Front/Rear
58.9/58.5 FXT
58.5/58.1 WRX GD (sedan)
57.7/57.3 WRX GG (wagon)

That gives us a total differential of 1.2" front and 1.2" rear in track narrowing. Enough to do what I'm trying to do!

Learning! I love it when I finally figure things out! So now to change my track I will need GG WRX axles, GG WRX front control arms, and GG Lateral links/or adjustable lateral links! I'm not sure if that's all I need to change the track width though, would I be missing something? Is there more involved in changing track width or am I set?

Decrease track width so I can tuck 245's/255's without a lot of negative camber. Basically gives the car the ability to run extremely low offsets which is difficult with Subarus.

Wheels are 18x10 +18 Work Emotion XD9's

I don't know much about Subarus but I would assume you would need to mess with the steering rack too.

maybe, I am not sure but I will have to check part numbers for steering racks to confirm that.

I know! Super unique setup, one guy pioneered this and I'm trying to put the pieces of his puzzle together and figure it out.

I hope you're doing a forum build for other Foresters to follow in your path, because your car is fucking awesome.

There are so many easier ways to do this, but I'd rather do something nuts like decrease the track width and run low offset because YOLO

You're catching on to the ironic use of YOLO that Rusto and I have been doing. Nice.
