On October 18th, I will be in Focus ST heaven. Also, even though I paid extra for Rado Gray wheels, I'm tempted to eventually buy a set of TSW Nurburgrings, because A: HNNNNNG FORGED LIGHTNESS AND STRENGTH and B: They'd look mad fly.

Congrats! I have your little brother, the Fiesta ST. I wound up going out of state to the get one I wanted, so I understand your excitement to get your car. And, if you get the second set of wheels, you can use one set for winter tires and the other set for the summer tires.

18x8s (like I'd be getting if I were to get them) weigh 18.6 pounds. SO LIGHT. SO STRONG.
Also, fuck Ford for their weird bolt patterns making aftermarket wheels a pain.

I purchased mine through Costco, it's been a long time coming, being built on the 29th of this month ,and mine to drive home on the 18th. The local tire shop by my house offers great deals on a set of winter wheels and tires, including free swap and balancing of both wheels forever if I buy from them.
Also, they are a TSW dealer. I wish I didn't know that. I put all my free car money into my Focus, and now I know how easy this will be.

I like the TSW's, but I won't lie, I actually really like the stock wheels, especially with the dark finish.

It's both the dark finish and red brake calipers on those "I could probably stop a train or two" brakes they put on the FoST, so I'd still get the style bonus.

Heh, gotta love temptation. So my plan here in Michigan is (since I don't want to run the rado gray wheels through the winter) that I'll pick up some el cheapo 16" wheels and throw some winter tires on those (my thought being 16" will be a bit easier to get my hands on).
Well, that was my plan.
Plan B: Spend that same money and buy some winter beater off Craigslist. I figure that if we have another winter like last year, I'd rather have the Fiesta in the garage and beat/salt the shit out of some old beast. Then, I'll sell it come spring and make at least some of my money back. And, I won't have a set of wheels/tires sitting in my entirely too small garage all summer!

Went to H20i this weekend, ears bled from blowoff valve noises from kids who drained their bank account on their cars and couldn't afford anything but a cheap ebay valve. ANNOYING AS SHIT.

I actually don't like the red calipers, I got the option on mine without even knowing(didn't pay extra either) but would've preferred the silver with unpainted calipers.
