Before "Kinja" was even in initial alpha builds and during a great time of history where those that had stars upon thars were the ones that held responsibility... there was a spoken unspoken rule (shut up, it makes sense).

We spoke modified old English then, just trust me here, You can Bing* it (*go ahead, your results will probably just be the same as Google's). But to put it another way. You never asked to be starred, you never asked why you had not yet been deemed worthy of having a star bestowed up you. In today's world, being followed by a FP is similar. I kind of miss the old approach.
