Had a friend, son of a Belgian diplomat, whose father drove one of these. Or rather probably had it driven for him. The grill was unforgettable, and the badges (still don't know what they're all about) on it were so cool.

This looks like a new car.

Sidenote: once again proving I'm an old-ass man in a slightly younger man's body, I wish Mercedes would go back to making cars the way they used to. A basic luxury car, a crazy sports car, and a car for all of your dictatorial needs. Nothing more, nothing less.

BMW could use some of that advice too. Small sporty car, middle sporty car, large car to look down on people with, and a coupe.

Also on mercedes, dont ever forget the mog or the G class, those could stay too

Ohhh yes, Unimog is a must. G class, maybe with the caveat that it has to be more awesome than anything Land Rover does, with less visibility vis-a-vis celebrities.

BMW and Audi. It's a German issue with runaway vanilla. Everything looks the same, performs better in steps, and only goes noticeably up in price and trim.

Just make a few cars, give engine and trim options, and call it a day.
