Arguable. That probably wouldn't hold up in court that they posed "no threat".
Old white man in a nice car being harassed by two young, fit foreign guys , one of whom is shitting on his car? That might qualify for non-lethal self defense, public defecation is considered a biohazard in most states and for an old person with a compromised immune system, that could be seriously dangerous.
The reality of it is, know the state law about what can and cannot be done. If you're in a state where people can legally pull out a tazer or pepper spray on you for just getting within a few feet of them, well, don't prank them. There was fault on both sides, but the escalation to tazer-worthy offense was on the pranksters.

After the fact? "Vandalizing" someone's property doesn't mean that person has the right to attack you with a deadly weapon (it's considered that in many states depending on use). The man was backing off as soon as the old man approached the vehicle. This wasn't an act of self defense. The man was upset and decided to exact revenge. The video is all the proof you need.
The insufferable looking youths should have just ignored the old bag of shit but their little prank didn't deserve that.
