My fog lights only have one wire and i've wired them to the high beams,......this hasnt worked. The whole idea was to have no switch.

Any ideas?

If they have only one wire, then you have to be sure to ground the housing or negative side of the bulb at least. I'm not sure that wiring them to the high beams is a good idea. The wiring and components for the high beams may not be able to handle the extra load imposed on them by the fog lights. This could blow a fuse, burn up a relay or possibly melt wires which could lead to a fire.

I'm gonna buy some new fog lights w/ a relay eventually.
