When I pee me pee looks like some sort of coca-cola(or pepsi), it smells... well.. not good... Am I on the verge to rhabdomyolisis?..

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe you should see a doctor.

I've had a gallon of water for the last 10 hours...

Drink more water, lots more water. Have you had any protein powder or changed your diet recently?
![]() 09/25/2014 at 20:08 |

You might want to go see a physician about this one, don't ya think? Abnormal pee is never a good thing.

No powder, only change in diet is more veggies..

Ok, try and see a doctor. It's sounding like the beginning of rhabdomyolisis to me.

I guess I'll have to.. I hate doctors..

It could be a number of things. Go to a doctor.

This should help. But seriously, go see a doctor.

I'm normally a suck it up and deal with it person but stuff with your urine can lead to kidney failure which is really, really, really, bad.

I don't even lift, bro, and I know you're doing something stupidly wrong.
You want to drink the water because you're probably damaging your kidneys, this should dilute it. A gallon every 10 hours is what you should drink normally. You should be chugging the stuff if you're working out too.
Then you need to change your diet and habits and see a doctor. You should have seen a doctor a long time ago.

I'll call the doc tomorrow then.. who would've thought that a few (30) lifts with a 70kg weight could do such a thing.

Doctor and water?

diabetic here - I'd venture to guess that somehow protein is getting into your urine which could be a sign of a serious issue. If it's the first time it's happened, good to call your Dr tomorrow, if it's not, you should've called beforehand.
Sorry, didn't mean to get too parent-y there, but yeah, see a Dr. soon

I will. Set the alarm to 08:00 tomorrow (less than six hours).

First time it's happened. But it's the first time I've lifted a total of more than 500kg during a few hours as well. Protein in my urine does not seem like a good thing though.

Good! Let us know.
![]() 09/25/2014 at 20:19 |

doctor then! I was a power lifter in HS, you shouldn't be that dehydrated from lifting... GO!
![]() 09/25/2014 at 20:19 |

Believe me, it's not. But it could be something different, I'm just guessing off personal experience here.

Will see my doc in about six hours.

Is this your first time lifting in a long time?
Also, he approves:

I'll see my doc in just shy of six hours. I've got a feling this ain't good.

What does it taste like, though?

I've never been the "lift weights and be fit guy", but I've always been strong. Lifting 45 pounds on each arm has never been a problem. The whole thing started when I had to carry 130 pounds x4.. I made four trips though.

No Idea, not that I'll ever test it either.

as an MD, dark colored urine could be due to dehydration or rhabdo. Increase your fluid intake and probably not a bad idea to keep that appointment tomorrow.

Bladder infection? Go to the doctor.
![]() 09/25/2014 at 21:05 |

I'm guessing lifting 560kg in 12 hours ain't a great a good idea as well :P
![]() 09/25/2014 at 21:06 |

Not an infection in the bladder as such mate.. I've just lifted more than my body could handle.
![]() 09/25/2014 at 21:06 |

eh, probably not. just avoid NSAIDs. Stick to tylenol/acetaminophen and increase fluid intake and see your doc in the morning.

I don't use pain killers (other than the ones I use for my migraine)... Paracetamols and shit like that can go hang..
