I drive past my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on my commute. Today I noticed they have a ton of XTSes and SRXes parked out front, so I checked their inventory. Sure enough, their most common vehicles are the XTS and SRX. Out of 99 total vehicles there are:

ATS coupe - 1
ATS sedan - 14
CTS sedan - 18
CTS wagon - 1
CTS-V sedan - 1
ELR - 1
Escalade - 2
Escalade ESV - 1
SRX - 22
XTS - 22

It would appear, at least here in the midwest, that the Caddy model mix is catering a bit toward the more, shall we say, "traditional" customer.

Good thing Cadillac is making an even bigger luxury car again!

Everyone will buy one!

That's funny, because those are my two least-favorite Caddys right now. Or should I say, the only two I don't love.

So 44 massive blind spots? You might as well be driving a tank with the amount of SRX blind spots.

If the XTS had the CTS drivetrain (in both RWD and AWD versions) and adaptable magnetic ride control, it would be an awesome car.

In all fairness (as someone who is REALLY close to the "Cadillac Sales" industry, those 22 SRXs will sell out by the end of the month)

I didn't mean that they're sitting around not selling. More that if those are the most common cars on the lot, they're probably what's selling the best. Which I found kinda funny, since Cadillac is trying to be a BMW/Merc/Audi competitor but the most common models, at least by me, are a fwd land yacht, and a crossover.

It's probably easier to see out of than a 370Z roadster with the top up.

It's a smart move, cater to your traditional customer base while expanding to new markets.
