Theres things I do and dont agree with, but this finds its way to almost the top of the Agree list.
My coworkers NEVER put their phone away. Its stupid.
They do a large number of jobs incorrectly, and dont even notice. Sometimes I feel like basic reading comprehension is a struggle for them because it involves spelled out words that equate to more than 140 characters, it doesnt involve drinking plans, and it reuires full focus.
I love my smartphone, but Im sick of what its come down to.
I dont want instant gratification, I want human interaction.
spanfucker retire bitch

The study also found that Millennials are three times more likely than those over 40 to think that smartphone use during meetings is okay
That's just disturbing. I can't imagine just using my phone during a meeting. I haven't taken them into meetings before but 1) they're always on silent and 2) sometimes when asked a question I will refer to it if the information is stored on said phone (contact info, etc).
But just screwing around with it during a meeting? That defeats the whole point of a meeting taking place.
