I can say anything more then io9, except it has a friggin Ferrari 458 Spider with 3 pedals(they show gear changes twice) and flappy paddles. Sorry buth those 2 minutes are some of the most retarder fun I have ever seen.
At least this shows that manual gearboxes makes for far more interesting chase scenes then those automatic shitboxes.

Spliced in footage. There are no manual 458s, at any trim level. They eliminated manuals the same year they intro'd that car.
And I'm 99% sure the power top cannot just be blown off like that.

I realize that a little suspense in believe is required to enjoy TV/movies. I can watch someone get shot in the shoulder, suffer for 10 minutes, then spend the rest of the show with a stained shirt. I can watch a firearm have an endless bullet supply. I can watch someone hack into stop lights from a laptop. I can even watch NCIS drive 10 minutes to get from DC to Norfolk.
What I saw in that show insulted my intelligence. "Are we really that stupid?" I said
Mrs McMike had to tell me three or four times. "Stop it, it's just a show." every time I gave her one of these.

Heres one time I wish reality were a bit closer to the TV.

Haha that's like how in The Blacklist, DC and NY must be practically right next to each other. The bad guy will be doing something in NY, the head FBI guy in DC tells the agents to "get over there ASAP!" and next thing you know they've arrived in NY in time to stop the bad guy. That's like a 4+ hour drive with traffic! It would make much more sense to make a phone call up the FBI in NY and have them take care of stuff but then that would prevent the main FBI agent characters from doing dramatic things to bad guys.

Another stupid gaffe: the 458 spider has a power top.
Why wouldn't they just pause for the 10 seconds it takes to lower the roof, after they get in the car? Because dramatic roof panel punching and flipping needs to happen!
