I commend these cars for offering cloth.

I'll only do leather if I have my heated seats.

I'll do it if I can have heated seats for winter and cooled seats for summer.

The only car I've owned with cloth seats was a '92 Integra GSR with mouse fur seats. The car often gave me a static shock when I'd touch the door while getting out of the car.

I don't think leather is particularly great, but at least it doesn't shock me.

Part of the reason is apparently so that the eco-vegan-anti-car-Tesla-buyers can have something that doesn't involve animals. So it kinda makes sense.

Remember that many religious faiths have prohibitions against leather and/or types of leather tanning.

New M3 can be had with cloth, of the "Speed" variety.

Yeah, I actually saw one in a parking lot the other day with cloth seats. As Car People we kinda expect high-end luxury cars to come with leather, and it's surprising to see cloth.

Its a pleasant surprise! Leather should be "exclusive". But now you can get it in a Versa.

You could buy the late '90s Infiniti i30 with cloth AND a manual transmission.

Also, cloth is a weird word. Cloth. Cloth. It makes less sense the more you look at it.

Volvo did away with leatherette/vinyl and just did cloth on the:
- Current and last S60
- XC70
- XC60
- XC90

The only Vo's you could get with leather only are the C70 and S80.

I don't consider the Chrysler 200 to really be "luxury" to be honest. It has luxurious aspirations, but I don't think it's actually up there with other legit luxury cars. It looks nice, but just not quite at that level.

I'd much rather have high quality cloth than "leatherette/pleather/naugahyde" or even the mediocre so-called 'real leather' found in many mainstream models! Out of the 16 cars I've owned over the past 26 years, my favorite was a 1995 Acura Legend L Sedan, Taffeta White with Grace Beige (Taupe) Cloth and 5-speed manual transmission! The 'L Cloth' (or LC as shown on the Window Sticker and sales docs) was the cheapest Legend trim level, but looked identical to the more expensive LL (L Leather) and LS Sedans on the exterior. It was turned in at the end of a 3-year lease and sat on the Acura dealer's used lot for 11 months before I finally snagged it in 1999. It only had 34k miles on it and by late 2005, I had passed the 240k mark and still had the original clutch!

I wish I still had it today, but I was t-boned by a drunk bastard in October 2005 and it was destroyed. By destroyed I mean that the roof buckled and blew out the front and rear glass and shattered the moonroof! I had a pretty nasty head injury and a few broken bones, but still walked (okay, limped...) away. And that cloth interior still looked almost brand new other except for the driver's seat covered in my blood....

Yes it does. Know what's worse? It only offers cloth seats. There's no leather option. Let that sink in. This is supposed to be an ultra luxury hybrid but there's no leather seats

Of course it had leather trimmings to give it a premium feel but the seat is cloth. Think I'm joking? Go drive one or look up the reviews. I don't know about 2014&2013 models but before that there were all cloth seats. No leather option
