This '64 Nova has me completely smitten. It has amazing patina(and some epicly rusted fenders). It apparently runs, but needs brakes. However they want only $700 for it. For that price a set of used fenders and a brake job would have you an interesting cruiser for probably under $1500. It'd be neat trying to fauxtina replacement fenders to match the body.

Damn, that sounds like an awesome project...

No! Bad Pixel! No more rusty vehicles that turn into major projects!

I need to finish this one first:

Boy minus that fender that body looks really straight. Interior looks pretty bad, but that's what Mexican blankets are for. That is very tempting. If it were a two door in that condition for that price I wouldn't be thinking about it and it would be on a trailer coming home. BUT there are no pics showing the condition of the underbody. Which considering it's in MA is something to check, but I'm sure you know that.

My 1st car at age 15! (looked about the same too.) Think i paid $50 for it-but that was in 1975 dollars. At least my memories are now back in fashion.

I'll bet the floors are rotted too.

If it were a two door, the asking price would probably be $3500.

Continue fixing the rot & poor prior body work, then paint it in dark greed with cream bumpers/grille/roof/wheels. Lower it a bit with a few other custom touches. Goal is a cool looking subtle custom that doesn't sacrifice its ability to be put to work.
Occasional crazy idea is to letter it up as a service truck for an old Cities Service gas station.
