I made a comment on the Mercedes C63 AMG
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
And I realised minutes after I posted it how I was wrong by saying the C63 was a track car, I was thinking of the black series.
You should be able to delete comments within 5 minutes of posting it...
My inbox is paying for it, and I'm painted red with embrassment

This is Reason #2 of why I don't comment on the FP. Sometimes I'm wrong and everybody knows you can't be wrong on the internet without being told about it many times.

there should definitely be some sort of compensation, like being able to delete a comment within the first 10 minutes, or whatever the time limit for editing a comment is should also be deleting.

The FP draws assholes out of the woodwork that are waiting for the opportunity to harass you if you say something they don't agree with/are wrong in something you said, especially if they can call you out on some stupid minutiae that they think lends them some tenuous credibility.
