Your tuition comment reminds me: we were playing cards once on this guy's new dinner table, apparently hand hewn by Amish or something. After about the third beer gets spilled on it, someone smirks and shrugs and this dude jumps up saying "don't laugh about it! This table is worth more than your education!!" Dead serious about it.
And since the beer-spiller was midway through his stay at Georgetown medical, we all kinda looked at each other and busted up laughing. "Holy shit, a quarter million dollars? That's an expensive-ass table, son!"
