Question: do wraps act like a car condom? Do they protect your paint from road diseases? Or are they bad for the paint because they peel a little bit of the clear coat off when you remove the wrap?

It's a wrap. Ferrari doesn't currently produce a matte blue. In addition, if you search "matte blue 458," it will come up on Google Images.

Think of a car wrap as a colored clear bra. Yes, they protect your vehicle from bug juices, bird droppings, small debris impacts, and other nasty things.

While I'm not positive that a little bit of clear coat isn't taken off, I would highly doubt it.

That wrap on the Lambo does look pretty nice. It is a bit more bright orange than the color used on the F1.

Haha I feel ya. I'm 35 and couldn't rock the wrap in the second pic. It's too loud. The chrome in it makes it so shouty.

It's a shame that it's so unloved by the Tifosi. I know it's not the racing color but does every street car have to be red? Buyers like black and grey cars and they hold their values pretty well. But blue is horrible for resale.

I have used vinyl wrap on a couple vehicles, both mine and others. It does not peel the paint. Works on trim, paint, rims, etc. Much better than plasti-dip
