Lincoln's made it impossible to get a hold of their email addresses so if you could join the group effort and write on Twitter with the hashtags, "@LincolnMotorCo" and "@LincolnNeedsAFlagship" that'd be awesome.

Change.org is a very well known organization, I'm sure they wouldn't do anything sneaky with your personals. Never happened to me.

this is like all the people who bitched at ford for ending the panther platform.... all the same people who bought second, third or fourth hand used cars and never once bought any new car let alone a new car or new panther platform car from ford.

Unless ford has thousands of people a day going into dealerships and asking for a RWD flagship car which would prompt dealers to press ford to make one, nothing is going to happen.

I'm not deluding myself, I'm not going to convince Lincoln to build a car. The point of this is to make a fuss, a fuss which will contribute to what is, to me, an inevitable car. I've caused 30 comments or so, that alone is worth the trouble to me.

Lincoln does need new cars, but that's a terrible place to start. A flagship is what you build when the rest of your lineup is financially viable enough to support taking a risk on a car aimed at people who may not buy it.

No. Star with a RWD 3 Series fighter. It could even come with a V8 in top trim. Wait, see what the market does, keep improving, make TWEAKS to an already good formula, then move on to the next model, and the next model, and the next model.

Then, after Lincoln is no longer 'Fusion with leather seats' and has a stable lineup of successful and credible luxury cars, then you start playing with flagships and supercars and whatnot.
