hash browns, peppers, onions, peas and sausage fried up in olive oil with various spices and some salsa verde added toward the end, on a bed of tortilla chips, topped with an egg over-easy and some salsa on top.

Love the parsley and basil. Breakfast also looks tasty.

My herb garden has a similar number of plants, but is much less organized. One very large and messy chives plant and one well developed rosemary plant. I had some oregano and some parsley, but they died over the winter.

Ah , i don't have any outdoor space, I do not to transplant to a large container though, I pretty sure those jars are getting too small for my plants. I would really like to get parsley, chives and oregano going. This is my first attempt at growing anything... Except my fish. Haha.

And breakfast was tasty for sure, i am a big fan of mexican inspire breakfasts (maybe more tex-mex, southwest).

Ah, yeah. I'm pretty lucky to have a wrought iron railing just outside my apartment, so I have a few racks holding my plants on those. We don't have enough space by windows inside to allow me to bring more than the rosemary in during the winter though.

Yeah, I'm going to see if these plants will hold up year round, haha.

Transferring the plants out of those jars will be interesting, lol. I've actually considered smashing the jars, haha. I think I'll end up not watering them a couple of days so it'll be easier to shake them out dirt and all and replant them.

I kinda liked the jars. A one quart jar should be about the right size for those, though I suppose you might have some drainage issues.

Also, consider rosemary. As long as you don't let it freeze, it's a very resilient plant.

I put glass pebbles at the bottom of my jars so that any excess water sits below the dirt, so whenever I see water in there I don't water my plants, they eventually drink it all up :D

I do agree that the jars look cool, so perhaps I will look at finding larger jars. But maybe I'll find a planter I'm happy with, we'll see.
