!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is where you want to go if you want a free 3 month trial of iRacing. This past weekend the race sponsored by iRacing came with the announcement of a license agreement for the Ring. The GP/Nordschlief/and Combined layouts. That's due out in June/July of next year. I believe Monza and Imola are due out first.

Nope. The logistics of a track like that laser scanned and recreated in detail would literally take almost 2 years of production time with no other new content coming out. They've recently overhauled some things and some other things have now made it possible. The only iconic track missing from their catalog after this will be Le Mans. Le Mans wants way too much money and a finite license agreement.

It means it takes them less time to produce a track of that scale and magnitude. They laser scan everything not just the track. Trees/buildings/everything. A 21 mile track has a number of objects as you can imagine. Production time for a track like that is just massive.
