My first girls are confusing post, not the usual kind though. I dont objectify women. Have a photo of a car that I took to ease your reading.
THIS IS NOT TO BE SHARED TO ANY OTHER BLOG.
Gets personal after the jump
My girlfriend of 5 months broke up with me last night. Not because I did anything wrong, but because she is at a turning point in her life and she cant handle the distraction. She said she wants to get back together when she's done figuring her life out. I know I did nothing wrong, and we're still friends. But I cant help this sinking feeling that I did something to cause this. To tell you the truth, I'm perfectly okay with this, but the emotional turmoil this has caused me is eating me up inside. This may just be me over thinking things. She did this out of the blue over text too, not the nicest thing to do. I get where she is coming from, we are both introverts and I understand the need to be alone. But I wish she handled it differently, I wish she thought about my feelings in this decision of hers. I completely understand her point of view and support her decision, she just could have been nicer about it.

It hurts, but don't let it keep you down too long. Get back out there and win.

Am I too nice? Should I have put up more of a fight? I always have been known to put others before myself even if that means that I get neglected.

Over a text? Eh, fuck her. Break ups suck but there is always a reason for it (this case she's self centered), find some one else and don't be the poor bastard that she strings along for the next couple of years until she gets bored again.

That sucks. She really should have told you in person man.

what sucks is that what she is asking for is perfectly reasonable, yet she went about it in such a non-reasonable way

If you're still friendly, you can just say that to her, but it won't really matter now I guess. Hell, even a phone call would be better, but breaking up is an inherently selfish thing :( Feel better, and take solace in the fact that you're no longer dating someone who doesn't have the guts to break up with someone in person.

Have some Smokey Robinson to cheer you up sad clown. Kind of a raw situation man, I would think she would want your support in figuring out her life, but I don't know the dynamic there. Sorry to hear brother. Keep yo chin up, if this doesn't work out there are plenty of fish in the sea

Just throwing this out; wondering if you're too nice and should have put up a fight really wouldn't change the situation. Being a giant dick probably would not convince her to change her mind.
Regardless of how she did it, it probably wasn't an easy thing to do, and that's why it was done how it was done. That sort of thing usually takes some time to build up the mindset, guts, whatever to do it - so your putting up a fight may not have really done anything except exist as a futile effort.
No offense, just being honest.

BTW, "figure her life out" = "There's 2-3 guys in my classes I want to hop on". Hope this helps.
You sound pretty spineless bro, that's not really a turn on.

Well shit, sorry buddy. You've got my number(phones dead though) if ya need anything. But know this, if you did nothing wrong, you did nothing wrong; take it from a "nice guy" here.
But I do believe I'm in the right saying that it was a total "bitch move" to text you out of the blue and do that.

I don't think being "too nice" is the problem. I also doubt fighting it would help, you can't force her to do anything. You just gotta keep on keeping on.
