First of all, disconnecting the front sway bar was a BAD idea... Especially since my car has McPherson struts up front, which apparently don't like the no-bar front setup, unlike our Honda friends with double-wishbones.

Second, it looks like I'm going to be spending some quality time reattaching the right front inner fender liner, because a cone killed it.

Third, I think I'm addicted. I need to make a few setup changes to the Mazda, but I'm planning on running a couple more events, this year.

Fourth: JayhawkJake, Sportwagen and MidEngineer are pretty awesome, as are the rest of the Wichita SCCA folks I met. I definitely look forward to running with them again, although the next one may be in the Volvo.

Fifth: I wasn't the slowest person on the track, although not by much... I was 1.3 seconds slower than the Sportwagen...

Edit: Corrected MidEngineer's name. I was tired, forgive me.

I need new shocks (and stiffer springs) and bigger wheels and tires... my tires were rolling onto the sidewalls! But the GTI guys said they were impressed how hard I was able to thrash it without spinning out or breaking anything ;)

You should probably in the 40s. I run 42 all around, though I should lower the rear a bit

More Topeka than KCK, but... Y'all are pretty cool down in Wichita, though. I'll have to visit more often.

Next time, I'm raising my rears, so it'll be more tail-happy. That, and reconnect the front bar. That'll help a lot, from what I read about McPherson-setup cars.
