This event is at a karting track south of Syracuse, NY. This is the farthest west into the US I've ever been. It was ultra fun, as usual. There was also a night event, referenced !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Ah, that is unfortunate. I recently moved to North Carolina and it looks like all the ones around here wont be running for too much longer this year. Hopefully I can find something for the spring.

I have an E36 328is with fairly stiff aftermarket suspension. I think it would break the car as well as my spine. But I am sure it would be a huge amount of fun until that happened.

For sure. If my car were in worse condition, and I didn't need it to last for three years of law school, I would be all for it. My plan is to keep it after graduating and strip it out for track days/autocross.

I would imagine. They are great cars. I have driven a wide range of sports cars (and "sporty" cars), and I still genuinely enjoy driving mine. I have the 328, so it has close to FRS horsepower... but with 206 lb/ft of torque.

The Fiesta ST is one of my favorite "normal" cars to drive for many of the same reasons. Enough power to have fun, but not so much that you cant push it in day-to-day driving.

Yeah, I agree on all counts. The limits on the ST are pretty low, so reaching them is easy to do, and is very controllable.
