"sm70- why not Duesenberg?" (sm70-whynotduesenberg)

These are the cars I captured with the potato on a short walk through two of Denver's wealthiest neighborhood. And yes, the photos are crap.
I got this one only because the people you see on the corner shouted at me to turn around an take a picture.
I was in G-Class heaven. I saw at least half a dozen on this walk.
S550 with the license plate, "JAG". Confused or trolling?
Large pickup is large.
At this point, I should be showing you a picture of a decrepit Porsche 944 sitting text to a museum-quality black 300E convertible out in front of some large house. However, the dad of one of my friends, who is both a gear head and a smartass, saw the 944 before I did, picked me up and carried me past it with my arms pinned behind my back, saying, "Don't look, sm70, it's too horrible. We'll get you out of here, it'll be okay." This was met with furious flailing of my limbs and cries of, "I HAVE TO SAVE IT!!!" So here's a 911 Turbo S instead.
And an SQ5.
Bonus 2.5RS which was sitting at Echo Lake when we hiked up there. You know you're with a great group of people when you stop to take a picture of a random car in a parking lot while on a hike and nobody bats an eye.
I have to bring pup the fact that traffic on I70 in and out of Idaho springs is something of a nightmare. It's a steep, twisty 6 lane road. In the right lane, you have buses, trucks, and RVs doing about 35mph. In the other two lanes, you have Toyota pickups and Ford Explorers doing 55mph, with Audis and Subarus dodging in and out at over 75mph. It really is an amusing spectacle to watch. At one point, I looked out the window and noticed that the V8 Dakota passing us was a manual. I only had a brief moment to notice this however, because he suddenly decided to speed up. He did this because something along the lines of a white cruise missile way screaming up behind him. The cruise missile turned out to be a supercharged A7, which cut in front of our bus and passed the Dodge on the right before the Dodge could get his signal on. Audi drivers, amiright?
The cars I missed getting pictures included, among others, many AMG, RS, and M cars, an ISF, and 80's Maxima, an 80's whale tail Turbo, and this:

It's insane. Last time I was in this neighborhood, I ended up with a hundred or so pics in just 5 days. These were all in about 20 minutes.

Man, that's a really nice lake. The parting between the hills is perfect if it points in either east or west.

That's Echo Lake, and it is beautiful. The Idaho Springs reservoir is just a few miles below, and it may be even better. I took this last year:

You still don't realize what you caught in one of those pics, do you?
You glossed over the most rare vehicle in that album.

It's not *that* rare. I've seen them before on many occasions. It's just a ford straight truck with a pickup bed and leather seats (essentially).
